From one of our favourite Chilean producers, this red, like all Chocalan's wines, comes from a cooler part of the Maipo Valley which allows the grapes to ripen evenly and more slowly than in the heat of the Central Valley. The result is a wonderfully balanced example of Carmenere (Chile's great hope for red grapes) with smooth, ripe tannins and an irresistible fruity character. A great choice for the barbecue!
